What is a hot desk?

A hot desk in a business centre (also known as “touchdown” space, a “pod”, or workstation) is a furnished workstation at which anyone can set up and work from. Simply book, turn up and PnW (plug and work – broadband access is included).

Provided for those who need a temporary or short-term work base, hot desks are usually available to hire on an hourly or daily basis. Some centres may offer ‘fixed hour packages’ giving you a set number of hot desk hours per month.
